We have taken the extremely difficult decision to postpone our production of 'Dying for a Drink'. Several unforeseen factors, including a major cast member being unwell with a seasonal cold and another having just returned from a holiday abroad, mean that we feel it would be irresponsible to continue with the show at present. We know that many of our audience members will be feeling concerned about attending public events at this time, and the safety of our audience, cast and crew is our utmost priority. We have therefore taken the very painful decision to postpone the show, and we will keep in touch regarding when the future performances will take place. We appreciate that this may cause some disappointment and inconvenience, and we offer our sincere apologies to those affected.

If you have booked tickets, we will be in touch with you to discuss the options, which are:

A) A full refund
B) To keep the tickets and transfer them over to one of the replacement performance dates
B) Free tickets for the next show after 'Dying for a Drink' if you are unable to make a replacement date

Once again, we apologise wholeheartedly for any disappointment, and we look forward to seeing you again very soon.

Mint's 2019 summer show was Around the World in 80 Days.

The production was a brand new version of Jules Verne's classic adventure, adapted and directed by Alex Howell.

This riotous show was imaginatively staged, creating offices, trains, ships and even a dog sledge out of a few pieces of basic furniture. It was also enhanced with live sound and visual effects by foley artist, Andrew Hughes.

Mint returned to Stonnall Village Hall, but also visited three brand new venues; Shenstone Village Hall, Pelsall Community Centre and the Manor House Museum, West Bromwich.

Audience feedback:

'Great production of ‘Around the World in Eighty Days’ by The Mint Theatre Company last night. Fantastic performances by a very talented cast and beautifully directed. Some wonderful comic moments, thoroughly enjoyed the show. Well done to cast & crew. Catch it if you can.'
